God spoke to Pastor Claire in a dream to plant a church in Lynn, MA. It has been an adventure for Pastor Claire and the early crew that God called together to see House of Hope come to be where it is today. When Pastor Claire accepted the call, she began putting her tithe into a bank account to begin this church. It started with building relationships with the homeless and incarcerated youth of Lynn and meeting in Pastor Claire's house for service. A tight knit family of two former gang members, Cisco and Khan, and a group of women who God called to partner with Pastor Claire was formed.
God's heart for the homeless, addicts, incarcerated youth, families, and the international church has been the consistent heartbeat of this church. We have met on the street, changed buildings, and seen God's miraculous provision for our church in amazing ways to keep His mission for this church alive. We always will be a part of the streets, and always want the streets to be a part of us. We have seen Jesus meet the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of the people of our church as they find a place that can feel like home.
Now at Munroe Street, and a part of the Hope Center, our church is committed to the poorest of the poor knowing Jesus and making Him known. As a missional church outreach and evangelism is part of our DNA intertwined with the beauty of discipleship and spiritual growth.
We would not be where we are today without our amazing church and community partners who have lavishly poured out their love- through prayer, preaching, food, supplies, presence, and generous donations. Thank you for your love and support over the 14 year journey of our church.
